I've had my Virtual Private Server from ServerAxis.com for nearly 9 months now and I can safely say I've never been so happy with a hosting provider. Their website doesn't make them out to look like the leader in server technology but their staff is quite helpful and my server uptime and speed have been great.
The servers are unmanaged but you can usually get some advice and even upgrades for free by asking their friendly tech support. Most basic plans include metered bandwidth of 400Gb, but there is the option to have an unmetered account on a 10mbit line.
Pre-Installed Control Panel options include DirectAdmin ($5/month) or CPanel ($10/month). Both control panels make it quite easy to setup multiple websites on your server space and even resell some of the space.
So, if you're looking to put your website up on a higher end service without breaking the bank on a dedicated box I would recommend looking into virtual servers.
The response is rather
The response is rather quick. I have never needed to call in for support but their emails are always well written and friendly. I've had no issues what so ever with down time unlike many instances I've had with reseller packages that are on shared hosting accounts. For me, the extra $20-$30 per month is worth it because I can host a large number of sites on it and I'm never worried about it going down.
