Now that the official iPhone app has been submitted for approval, I’m working to upgrade the mobile html version of ChapterBoard. After reviewing a few mobile html development frameworks I’ve decided to use the jQuery Mobile framework. I’ll be sure to follow up with some thoughts as I continue building it out.
Lance from This By Them put together a sweet new logo for ChapterBoard.
Android market heating up with college kids
3 months ago ChapterBoard was getting visited by iPhones 4 times more than Android. As of today Android users are nearly twice iPhone users.
Glad I spent all that time writing a native iPhone app….
Been working on re-working my login pages for ChapterBoard. From current login page to what should be the new login page once I launch the new platform. I drew inspiration from Basecamp, notably the use of the way they point out other related links recovering your password.
You’ll also notice that I am now unbranding the login page for each specific chapter. This is another move I’m making with the new framework, no longer will members need to go to their chapter’s subdomains to login. I think overall this is a good move to making the service easier to adopt.
