I picked this book up the other day for a friend of mine who has some html experience but no PHP experience or understanding of how a website is served. After reading through the early chapters to see if it would be a good fit for my friend I must say it was one of the best I could find for someone loooking to learn the basics.

Today I got my copy of Pro Drupal Development by John K. VanDyk and Matt Westgate and published by Apress. I've considered myself a Drupal hobbiest, not really developing anything from scratch but merely editing code as needed.

I just went by the local Barnes and Noble today and picked up this book The Ultimate Marketing Toolkit and found it to be very straight forward and practical for anyone starting their new business or looking at expanding their current marketing strategies.
